RAMESH RAJAN & DIVYA VARADARAJAN

Ramesh : I was born in Calcutta and did all my pre-schooling in Punjab, where dad was employed.  His decision to set up his own heavy machinery outfit in Chennai had us move there in 1985.  I had the privilege of receiving the ‘single-child-syndrome’ treatment.

Divya: Born in Bengaluru, ( then Bangalore) , raised in Hyderabad , have always been a bossy elder sister ( I love my little brother). I may look boring but I am a fun loving spirited person with a dazzling smile 🙂 .

Ramesh: I have been into sports since childhood.  I played Tennis ,Cricket and BasketBall.  I picked up Golf and I’m still not sure why I ever did that.  I’ve also done plenty of trekking and camping and am an enthusiastic backpacker.

Divya: I love camping and trekking but never got to do it, have been very enthusiastic about sports but have always been an extra most times 🙂

Ramesh: While I’m sure I don’t have a signature hobby, I have taken some interest in the kitchen. My culinary skills aren’t the best, but I can wield a knife and a pan to make myself a decent meal.  And being a vegetarian probably pushed me more to cook.  I like watching sports on TV and spend an occasional evening shooting some pool and singing tamil and hindi songs to western beats at the Karoake bar.

Divya:Love singing (for myself), hate it when people ask me to sing. Used to hate cooking but these days I don’t really mind it.

We met in Singapore and love didn’t blossom, but now we can’t imagine our lives with out each other.

Ramesh: Prior to moving to Melbourne (where I currently live), I spent a great deal of time in Dubai and Manila. I’ve been a diarist (hoping to edit and publish them) but have given it all up to blog. I find technology a good aid for sharing thoughts.

Divya: He is just plain lazy so I hijacked his blog !!
